The fear to remember
The fear to forget
The longing after familiar arms
The wish to be embraced by those arms

The feeling of fire behind your eyes 
The feeling of being completely empty

You aren’t able to breath
You aren’t able to think
You aren’t able to speak
You aren’t able to cry

Being awake is unbearable 

You want to sleep
Nightmares hunt you 

You wake up
The nightmares go one
Nothing has changed

Your ears are deaf
Your eyes are blind
Your voice is silent
Your body is numb

Fighting
Running
Screaming
Crying
You want to do so much, but you can’t do even one thing.

Nothing is left

Just memories which hunt you
Just the knowledge to never find yourself in these arms again
Just the remaining cold which came after the warmth…
