| Don Rosa has created the Clan McDuck, he’s given his favourite character a family and a rich historical background, so I thought I’d do the same for my dearest Disney Duck character ever – Magica DeSpell! Here I will introduce to you the members of the DeSpell Clan, an old and powerful family of witches and wizards. Most of the characters are my creation, but some already existed beforehand and I just adopted them and modified them a bit according to my personal views. I’ll provide some info about them and what they’re like and – of course – my illustrations (this is an art page after all =3). Nice comments are always welcome and appreciated! <3 Savvy!? Fine! So, here we go: Lucrezia DeSpell ~ *1368 ~ younger sister of Karoline and older sister of Liliana, aunt of Magica ~ Appearance: voluptuous woman of medium height ~ fiery red hair with big, soft curls and waves and some grey strands in it ~ dark-brown eyes, painted with blue eyeshadow ~ femme fatale with liability to promiscuous behaviour and rather hedonistic lifestyle ~ just loves having a little affair every now and then and doesn’t care being referred to as “man eater” (wagging tongues have it that she even had some hanky-panky with the infamous Giacomo Casanova) - now that she is advanced in years she still maintains these habits, despite people shaking their heads about her. She’s a bit like the character Samantha in „Sex and the City“, just as a little comparison…. Other sources of inspiration: Milva (Italian singer), Queen Morgause (The Mists of Avalon), Lucrezia Borgia (historical person) – Nomen est Omen, duh… ^_~ ~ sensualist, decadent, independent, sometimes a bit smug and cunning, but reliable when it comes to her family and friends ~ loves to travel, which she does a lot (is almost never at home) ~ cosmopolitan ~ her animal spirit is a peacock named Paris (not like the infamous heiress we all know so well, but the character of Homer's epic tale called "Iliad") Disclaimer: Brushes and Patterns belong to ....
